We weren’t very long into the presidential election campaign last year when we discovered the blatant mainstream media bias. It was dreadful, grossly unfair and so arrogant were those involved in the liberal media, little was done to hide it or excuse it.
All Crooked Hillary’s crimes and failures in government were glossed over, ignored completely, or simply lied about. The MSM gave hardly any coverage to the thousands of revelations contained in the Wikileaks releases, despite the fact that they revealed crimes, vote rigging and gave a great insight into both the DNC and their chosen candidate.
At the same time every word and action by Donald Trump was analysed and criticized.
It wasn’t restricted to any one newspaper or TV network. From the New York Times, to the Washington Post, to ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN, journalists played their part in attempting to distort the news.
Now we call what they did “Fake News”, so named because that is exactly what it is – FAKE news.
For those who want it further defined, “fake news” occurs when the media reports stories that are not true, while at the same time deliberately avoiding stories that are true because they go against what the media wants.
The biggest fake news offender was, and is, CNN – known by most now as the Clinton News Network. CNN does it 24/7 with endlessly repeated false stories hyped up and sensationalized without a real fact to corroborate them.
Such is the liberal hatred of Trump and the mainstream media’s embarrassment that they all called the result of the election so so wrong that they won’t stop their propaganda campaign against his Presidency. So prepare yourselves for a lot more fake new in the coming months.
Having said all that, occasionally it backfires on them.
Although the fake news being pumped out by these liberals is annoying, there are amusing moments among it all. A recent one featured poor CNN host Don Lemon, who was forced to cut his show after a commentator continued to claim that a story they were covering was “fake news.”
The story – or rather, non-story – in question was about the cost of Trump’s visits to Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Shockingly, for Lemon, one of the panel members, Paris Dennard, said, “I think this is fake news. This is not a news story.”
Here is the incident:
Hannity has also exposed the fake news phenomenon on his show, for example here:
