Sanders Dumps Deceitful DNC
It took Bernie Sanders all of 24 hours to dump the Democrat Party, but they were 24 long and damaging hours for him.
Bernie didn’t make a very good or dignified exit.
Before he left, he was forced to humiliate himself and betray his loyal supporters by endorsing Crooked Hillary, even though the people who have bought her are the very people Sanders detests the most.
In truth, even without the DNC email leaks scandal, it was something that had to happen. The Democrat Party never looked like a good fit for Bernie Sanders.
Every time he was asked about that relationship his answers were awkward and unconvincing, saying things like saying he was “adopting” the party. It never really rang true.
The nomination was barely sealed at the Democrat National Convention before Bernie Sanders, who had campaigned against Hillary Clinton for the party’s nod, went back to being an Independent.
Sanders has been in politics since 1979, but until his decision to run as a presidential nominee candidate he had rarely, if ever, identified as a member of the Democrat Party.
His views were always further left than the Democrat Party’s, which makes his decision to support Crooked Hillary even more surprising.
His attempt to use the Democrats as a means of getting to the White House turned into the Democrats using him to push his rival a little bit closer to that goal.
So it’s “bye-bye” Bernie. The DNC will be relieved about that, but they will be wondering just how many of those who voted for Sanders will be leaving too.
