Obama’s Still Not Talking…
About The Crooked Hillary Case
While the FBI investigation was ongoing, Obama avoided making any comments on Crooked Hillary’s use of a personal email server while the case was under investigation. Maybe there was an excuse for that.
But now after the investigation has ended he still won’t say anything about it.
When asked by reporter Mark Landler of The New York Times about Crooked Hillary’s emails, Obama interrupted him saying, “I want you to make sure you’re not wasting your question. I’m going to continue to be scrupulous about not commenting on it, primarily just because I think Director Comey could not have been more exhaustive.”
Obama noted that Comey issued a detailed statement at FBI headquarters and also testified to Congress about the investigation.
Then, to emphasize his point, Obama warned Landler again not to go there, “I just wanted to give you a chance, just in case you didn’t want to burn your question.”
But Landler persisted, asking if Obama was concerned by Comey’s conclusion that many top State Department officials — not just Clinton — “were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”
To that Obama did respond. He told Landler, “I am concerned. The challenge that we’ve got is primarily driven by the changing nature of how information flows. Look, the advent of email and texts and smartphones is just generating just enormous amounts of data. That’s put pressure on the State Department to sort, classify and protect its information.”
He went on, “Across government you’re seeing this problem. It’s a problem in terms of domestic affairs, it becomes an even bigger problem when you talk about national security issues.”
It was a non-answer answer.
As usual, Obama avoided addressing the real issue everyone wanted to know about and instead went off on a load of irrelevant generalities about email and the vast amounts of information currently being generated.
He carefully avoided talking about what happens when someone like Crooked Hillary sets up her own unsecure server to handle such information, or what action should be taken against someone who jeopardizes national security and American lives by blatantly breaching the laws and regulations governing same.
It is similar to the way Obama constantly talks about gun control rather than answering questions about how he plans to tackle radical Islamic terrorism, or how he points to climate change to explain the terror threat from the Middle East.
Obama has spent almost eight years in the White House failing to give substantive answers to important questions. There is little evidence that in his final few months he will do anything different.
But in spite of his reluctance to come clean on the Crooked Hillary email scandal he knows she is guilty. Without him having to say so the American people also know she is guilty.
Sadly, the only two people who don’t seem to know are the Director of the FBI and the Attorney General.
