Trump Can Beat Clinton
When this presidential race started it looked like Hillary Clinton versus a same old, same old, dull and boringly ‘safe’ Republican candidate.
Then Donald Trump entered the race.
Here at last was a Republican candidate with charm, humor, charisma by the square yard and an empathy with the ordinary American voters.
Trump was everything Clinton was not.
Hillary’s Fall From Greatness
In comparison Hillary was completely exposed. People – even a few Democrats – began to see her for what she really is – a liability.
Her predicament was made even worse when her record as Secretary of State was scrutinized and found sadly lacking. Investigations into the corruption that went on, including accepting cash donations for husband Bill’s foundations for favors to interests not friendly to the U.S., added to her woes. And the emailgate scandal, which may yet see her in prison where she belongs (unless Obama is silly enough to pardon her as he leaves office) completes her fall from greatness.
The consequences were predictable.
Recently Hillary Clinton’s favorability rating has been dropping to their lowest since she declared she was running for President.
In fact, one Gallup poll says that at 41 percent it is one of Clinton’s lowest favorability ratings ever. The number of those holding an unfavorable view of her is at 51 percent.
A lot of it has to do with the publicity surrounding the emailgate scandal, FBI investigations, and so forth, which is to be expected.
However that is a simplistic view and hides larger flaws in Hillary Clinton’s character that makes her completely unsuitable to be president of anything, let alone President of the United States of America.
Hillary Clinton is a pathological liar. She has no personality that I can detect, other than an overbearing arrogance and an insufferable sense of entitlement. In plain language, Clinton is just one of the most unlikable people in America.
A lot of her celebrity is based on being the wife of former President, Bill Clinton. “Slick Willy” was as corrupt as they come, a womanizer, a liar, and a whole host of other bad things. The difference with Bill was that he did have a personality, charisma and likability.
Hillary possesses none of the above attributes. She is, if you like, the anti-Bill, lacking charm and more importantly for a politician, lacking completely an understanding that the people whom she wants to vote for her are important.
The Bernie And Joe Show
Now Hillary Clinton has opposition in the form of Bernie Sanders and V.P. Joe Biden, the man whose popularity in the polls continues to increase in spite of the fact that he isn’t even in the race yet.
Whether that will be enough to see her off as the Democrat’s candidate for the White House remains to be seen. It should, but Hillary amassed a considerable war chest in her early days of the campaign which could see her through to the nomination.
But if the Republican Party is smart enough to allow Donald Trump to challenge her for the Presidency, then Hillary’s chances of becoming President decrease significantly.
Trump can beat Clinton.
It is as simple as that.
Only the Republican establishment can stop him, but if they do they will destroy their own party in the process.
